Our soffit lights are designed to install securely in a wide range of common soffit materials, including wood, vinyl, and composite products. While we have not specifically tested installation in James Hardie fiber cement soffit, many customers have successfully installed our lights in similar dense materials.
Because fiber cement is a harder, more rigid material, installation may require pre-drilling to ensure a clean fit and proper seating of the fixture. When installed correctly, the lights should remain securely in place.
