First determine which version of the light you want based on a more focused beam angle (soffit spot light: 38 lumen) or a wider brighter beam angle (soffit flood light: 145 lumen). The soffit spot will provide a more focused beam angle accent closer to the soffit, while the soffit flood will have a further light throw down from the soffit and at a wider beam angle. For best results a 2” minimum offset from the house is recommended. Recommended spacing for the soffit spot is 3FT on center and 5-6FT on center for the soffit flood.
