We highly recommend storing your post caps or turning them off in freezing conditions. Solar batteries, regardless of the type, do not accept a charge when exposed to temperatures below freezing. Therefore, what little sun is available the caps will not perform as intended. We have built our caps to include the best designed Lithium-Ion battery on the market but cold temperatures will play a role in their performance.
