Yes, these can be mounted in a structural steel tube.
Installation steps:
- Locate and mark the location of the light.
- Drill a 15/16" hole at this location. Note: the recessed housing will be slightly sloppy in the hole.
- On the inside of the recessed housing flange, run a small bead of silicone.
- Tape the light in place while waiting for the silicone to set up.
NOTE: Depending on the size and radius of the structural steel tube, two sides of the recessed housing flange may have a small gap.
