A customer could replace the the light bulb, however DEKOR recommends it be sent back to us to replace.
Process to remove:
- Depending on the style of railing; the customer would need to disassemble railing cap, disconnect cabling, and remove the baluster from the railing. Once removed, use a ridged wire 2’ in length (coat hanger works great) to enter into the top of the baluster sliding it down to the LED. Tap a few times on the wire to force the LED and body to fall in the basket. Remove failed LED and wire.
Installing new LED and cable:
- Fish the new wiring from the basket to the top of baluster. Place a small bead or Silicone around the body of the LED back housing and press up into the hole with your finger. Reverse the steps to reassemble the railing.
