Switch stair DOTS with DECK STAIR lights

Contractor installed DOT lights in concrete stairs and the are way too bright; this is made worse by the height of the stairs (5 stairs, so the top stairs' light streams are directly in line of sight on sloping front yard.

Our solution was to buy different DEKOR lights - the deck stair lights that come with a half-circle hood/cover that blocks more of the light. Since the website Q&A specifically says your systems are compatible, we assumed it would work.

Problem: The DOT system lights have 2 plugs on one end. Our new DECK STAIR lights with the "hood" only have ONE plug to connect to the wiring.

The existing system is already installed, in concrete, in pipes, with no external access EXCEPT where each light is installed.

Is there:
1- An adaptor or accessory that solves this problem?
2 - Or, is there a "hood" we can install OVER/AROUND the DOT lights to further direct the light?
3 - Or, is there a deck stair light that has TWO connectors that can plug into the existing wiring that came with the dot lights?
4 - Another solution?

We do not offer a hood for our paver dot lights.

4 - Another solution?

Cut the two connectors on the wiring that is already installed and the connector on the light. Hard wire the three wires as one. Make sure you maintain polarity by matching the red wires together as one and the clear wires together as the other.
