We highly recommend properly storing the batteries at room temperature during freezing conditions to preserve the battery lifespan. In situations where the post cap is left in the element of freezing conditions, the switch should be tuned to the off position. Wait at least 4 hours after the post cap has been exposed to temperatures above freezing to turn to the on position.
