What are the requirements if cutting the rope light?
Flex Deck LED Rope Light - 4 Pack
I am running the rope lights along the under edge of stone steps and the ropes are about 8-12" too long for the tread. Also, there is only access form the 1 end of the riser. If I cut the rope light as described on the main listing, do the cut ends need to be sealed? Do I just slice the rope squarely with a razor knife or are their other actions required? If cut, is the other end of the light also usable as a rope light?

Cutting our FLEX ROPE is done by us, the manufacturer. It is not something that a customer can do after the fact. We will manufacture the rope to your desired length and with your required ends (male/female), but this must be done prior to ordering. If you purchased a flex rope from us intending to cut it yourself, please feel free to contact our customer care department to help you with a return so we can do the cutting for you.
