The DEKOR Konnect (Rev-2) is now safe to be connected to the 200 Watt EZMAX200 transformer. Each Konnect will only allow a maximum of 60 Watts power draw. Any more and the internal breaker will turn off until input power is disconnected. The EZMAX200 like the EZMAXC has 2 waterproof connectors to attach the Konnect or other dimmer. Installation of a Konnect Wi-Fi controller should be done after the installation of lights directly with the transformer to ensure the lights are working correctly.
To add a Konnect to the system, unplug the transformer from the wall and allow the lights to power down. Disconnect one of the waterproof xxxx connectors. Attach the input wire on the Konnect to the transformer, and insert the wire from the lights into the plug on the Konnect body. Once secure, connect the transformer to the wall outlet to power up the system, then program using the Bond Home app.
The 2 outputs on the EZMAX200 and EZMAXC can be expanded upon with the Y-splitter which converts 1 connection to 2. With 2 Y-splitters you can effectively use 4 Konnect on your EZMAXC or EXMAX200. When more zones are needed, the Gang splitter which has 1 input and 5 outputs can expand your system to accommodate up to 10 zones with 2 splitters.
