I am not sure how bright of lights I need. should I use the standard or the next gen? This deck is 12' by 40'

How bright are the next gen 70 lumen? would that be overkill for a deck that is 12' by 40'? I am thinking of a design with 20 deck dots in the deck.

The brightness of the LEDs on your deck should be determined by how bright you need it (do you just need ambiance, or to bring a party atmosphere) and what brightness would be comfortable with your local light pollution levels. DEKOR standard brightness dots have the appearance of a 20watt incandescent bulb, versus the NexGen which appears like a 50-60watt bulb. The deck size will determine how many lights you need.
