Can these be tied into a low voltage yard lighting transformer?

DEKOR Recessed Dek Dot lights require 12v DC power. Please check your landscape transformer to verify whether it has an AC or DC output. Though the lights will work with any 12v DC input, the 10 year warranty requires use of a DEKOR brand transformer.
