The PaverDot has a domed lens which is 1/2 inch tall. If installed in a lawn, the lens is all that should be above ground. This will fit beneath most mowing equipment without issue. If you plan on setting your mower shorter than 1/2 inch, the light can be installed deeper in the ground.
